WHAT REVIEWERS SAY ABOUT ZIPR
I like the ZILR ZIPR, and it makes moving equipment around a lot easier.
Incredibly quiet — it doesn’t generate any noticeable noise that would interfere with audio recording.
It is not designed to carry a couple of hundred kg for a couple of hundred meters. It’s designed to carry a couple of hundred kg every day, day in day out.
The big pro for me is it’s taking a massive amount of strain off my body. Something like this can enable me to keep doing my job — I don’t want to do anything else. I’m having too much fun being on set.
All I’m doing is steering it and pushing down with my thumb. I’m not pulling on it at all — it’s a very, very cruisy experience.
Honestly, I’m surprised no one’s done this before. It’s a clever little idea.
It makes so much sense. When you go with it, everybody will look at you — the feedback was just really good.
The Zipr 4WD has been a godsend on set — a small, budget-limited crew lugging heavy kit through muddy fields, studio builds and city centres. Packs down small, sets up without tools, and it is FAST!
Carting in lights and equipment is no longer a chore but a joy. This thing is built like a tank — I’ve used it in rain, snow and ice and it’s still working as it should.
We’ve done a family photo walk with a ZILR ZIPR cart, and it was fantastic!
What I love about having the ZIPR with me was that I always had my kit prepared and right next to me. If I needed to access anything, it was right there — and when I was done with a take, I could just jump on it and ride to my next location.
